Never have I had so much trouble getting a song out of my head than the first time I heard BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU".

Rosé and Jennie especially have helped to inspire a new generation of young Asian-Australian performers. From dance covers to KPOP societies at universities, we've seen so many new talents emerge — thanks to Aussies taking up opportunities internationally.

For context, the pair spent majority of their childhoods in Australia and New Zealand, before being recruited by YG Entertainment in South Korea.
