    The strikes were a response by the Indian army after terrorists from Pakistan crossed into an army camp in Uri, Kashmir, earlier this month. Eighteen Indian soldiers lost their lives in the attack.

    While India's publications have lauded the army's actions against Pakistan, people have noticed that Pakistani publications have completely dismissed the entire thing.

    As per statements made by India's armed forces, 38 Pakistani terrorists were killed during the strike. However, Pakistan denies these claims, stating that only two soldiers were killed and nine were injured in a cross-border shootout initiated by India.
