Meet New Delhi-based couple Meghna Gahlot & Gaurav Dawar. They recently tied the knot in a lavish pool-side wedding in Thailand.
They started off their celebrations with a pool-side welcome party for all their friends and family who flew down for the nuptials.
The next day was the mehendi, which the couple decided should be bright and vibrant.
There were loads of puppets, elephants, paper umbrellas and funky signs all over the venue.
"We had lots of family performances and it was just the way we wanted," Meghna told wedding blog Wed Me Good.
Finally, for the big day, the extravagance went up a notch.
And the two became man and wife in a luxurious pool-side wedding, overlooking the beach.
The bride looked stunning in her wedding lehenga, designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
"I entered the venue on a beautiful palki carried by my brothers with tons of fireworks all around. The sunset, the ambience, the decor and the beach turned out just perfect for the day which meant so much to us," the bride said.
The groom rode in on an elephant, while rocking a regal sherwani.
After the ceremony ended, cementing the couple's love for each other, the guests relaxed with cake and champagne, after a long and exciting four days.
