On April 5, The New York Times published an article that states scientists have just discovered that deep breathing is a calming and healthy activity for human beings.
This is all well and good, buuttttt this new ~discovery~ is something Indians have known for years. Deep breathing is an integral part of yoga, and well, everyone has been doing that for decades in order to live a healthier life.
Indians were not thrilled to learn about this "new" discovery.
People have been flooding the New York Times Twitter calling them out.
And it really doesn’t look like they’re going to let up anytime soon.
