People Are Livid At This Photo Of A Delhi Cop Allegedly Groping A Female Student At A Protest

    On Sunday, hundreds of JNU students protested against the lack of investigation by the Delhi police on the 23-day disappearance of their classmate Najeeb Ahmed.

    On November 6, the New Delhi police forcibly dispersed a protest held by JNU students against the disappearance of their classmate Najeeb Ahmed.

    Several images from the protest have gone viral, including this one of the missing boy's mother.

    The photo was taken by The Hindu photographer Sushil Kumar Verma.

    And on November 7, another one has sparked outrage on the Indian internet. The photo is of a Delhi cop trying to quell the protest, and allegedly groping a JNU student while doing so.

    Hundreds of people began sharing the screenshot of the photo, which was taken by Times Of India photographer Yogesh Kumar.

    People were confused by the fact that female officers weren't at the protest, and were shocked at the Delhi cop's reported behaviour.

    Many called for the cop's suspension...

    ... And asked what the Delhi police intend to do about this.

    What action @DelhiPolice would take against this cop for molesting girl.

    As of now, there has been no additional information about the police officer in question, or the student.
