Police discovered that the pigeon was carrying a letter written in Urdu and addressed directly to PM Narendra Modi. It was then immediately arrested.

"Modi Ji, do not consider us same people as we were during 1971 (Indo-Pak war). Now each and every child is ready to fight against India."

However, people found the situation quite hilarious.

This isn't the first instance where an aerial espionage agent breached India's security. A white pigeon with an Urdu inscription on its wings was found on September 23.

And back in 2015, another spy pigeon was detained.
