Human Skulls, A Boar Head And Dried Frogs Seized By Australian Immigration

There were also lizards and tarantulas and bear claws... oh my!

A wild boar head is among thousands of items seized by Australian biosecurity officers in the last year from people trying to smuggle them illegally into Australia.

Other items seized include these human skulls.

    Fingers.

    Bear claws.

And live reptiles, dried spiders and frogs, and a whole fresh fish.

3,500 infringement notices were issued to travellers by Australian Border Force in the 2015/16 financial year for trying to bring items into the country that posed a risk to biosecurity.

Deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce has warned travellers not to treat biosecurity laws as a joke.

If you don't listen... Joyce will make sure you "bugger off" back to where you came from just like poor Pistol and Boo.
