You Can Still Access Pirate Bay On The Parliament House Free Wifi

    Whoops.

Last week the Federal Court ruled that Australian internet service providers must block five illegal piracy websites: The Pirate Bay, Torrentz, TorrentHound, IsoHunt, and SolarMovie.

Internet companies were given 15 business days to implement the block from when the decision was handed down on Thursday 15 December.

When people try to access the torrenting sites, they'll be greeted by a warning page that the content has been disabled by order of the Federal Court because it "infringes or facilitates the infringement of copyright".

But on Tuesday when Telstra begun blocking the torrenting sites (left), BuzzFeed News realised Pirate Bay is still accessible on the Parliament House free wifi (right)!

So the next time you visit the nation's capital to marvel at democracy, why not download a movie or two?
