This Is How Little The Polls Have Moved Since January

Hundreds of polls and thousands of campaign hours later, and nothing's really changed.

After four months of incessant election campaigning this year, opinion polls show there has been almost no change in how Britons intend to vote.

BuzzFeed News has created a graph of most political opinion polls since January, annotated with key events to show how they affected each party's popularity.

Scroll down the graph, which plots all polls listed by UK Polling Report on the Y axis, and one thing is clear: Almost nothing has changed. At the start of the year the Conservatives and Labour were neck and neck, with around a third of voters backing each party. UKIP was polling around 15%, while the Greens and Lib Dems were also neck and neck.

After hundreds of polls and four months of campaigning, almost none of it has amounted to anything.

Support for Labour and the Conservatives has edged up very slightly, UKIP has seen a slow but small decline, and the Lib Dems have regained a narrow lead over the Greens.
