Did Jawbone Just Make The Slimmest Fitness Band Ever?

One's super slim and the other lets you pay with your wrist.

Hang tight, because Jawbone's fitness band offerings just went from 2 to 4 gazillion.

Okay, just 4.

First up, there's the very thin UP2 ($99), a new band with the same sleep-tracking, step-counting features as the former UP24.

It's the most lightweight fitness band I've tried on. Here it is compared to the Jawbone UP24 and Fitbit's Flex.

Next up is the Jawbone UP3 ($180), which is not technically news, but Jawbone failed to ship the band after it was announced late last year.

Here it is compared to Fitbit's Charge HR and Microsoft's Band.

Well, the UP3 will *finally* be available after April 20 for those who preordered the band.

But Jawbone's biggest ~surprise~ is the announcement of the UP4 ($199), a tracker that you can use to pay for goods with your American Express card.

Feature-wise, there is still no display on any of the Jawbone bands and you still can't swim with the UP3, but the Jawbone band batteries do last relatively longer than other fitness trackers. Also, the hardware is slim AF.

So, to recap: there's the entry-level pedometer UP Move, the activity tracking UP2, the heartrate-sensing UP3, and the tap-to-pay-capable UP4.
