The BBC debate featured just five party leaders. It got people thinking – what was David Cameron up to tonight that was so important?
Maybe he was putting his feet up at home.
Or playing on his iPad – he enjoys that.
Perhaps there was some sport on TV.
Ooh, but he does enjoy a Nando's.
Or maybe he just fancied spending some quality time with his deputy on a balmy spring evening?
Either way, an awful lot of people thought he should have been there.
Even this Tory peer wasn't impressed with Cameron's decision.
Even Ed Miliband thought he should have been there too.
