We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us what they wish they knew about penises before their first sexual experience with one. Here are some of the best responses:
1. That they aren’t the size of whatever you usually put up there.
2. They do not look like the drawings.
3. They’re more fragile than they look.
4. That it isn’t a furry tube of skin.
5. You can’t actually break it, but you CAN fracture it.
6. That it isn't a literal snake.
7. That the taste is like nothing you've ever known.
8. That the head of the penis exists.
9. And that the head can kind of look like a tiny hat.
10. That it all comes out of the same hole.
11. Erections point up to the sky, not down.
12. That a boner can be a little bent.
13. The skin is as soft as a baby’s bottom.
14. They can move.
15. Ejaculation speeds may vary.
16. And it might not all come out at once.
17. That some grow a lot.
18. And that those growers shrink back to their normal size after sex.
19. That they come in all different colors — and that's totally normal.
20. That it can move like a helicopter.
21. That precum happens
