Watch Beyoncé Sing “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)” To Jay Z

HBO just released a teaser for the On The Run Tour series with Bey covering the ’60s song.

1. HBO has released a 50-second teaser for Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On the Run concert series.

2. It features Beyoncé singing a cover of “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)” to Jay Z.

3. This is the first concert series special featuring the famous couple. Watch the teaser here:

The concert footage to be featured in the special was shot on Sept. 12 and 13 at the Stade de France in Paris.

5. The song was originally written by Sonny Bono for Cher, who released the song on her second studio album The Sonny Side of Chér in 1966. It was an instant hit for her.

6. Also in 1966, Nancy Sinatra released a cover of the song, which became a hit in 2003 when it was featured in an opening scene in Kill Bill Volume 1.

7. Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On the Run Tour special will air on HBO on Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
