I'm with you, oOo. The shotgun is where it's at. I like to carry a double barreled shotgun so I can pick people off at the beginning, then maybe rock the heat ray a bit if things get hectic.

Okay I take that back. The heat ray is pretty awesome. You can win with pretty much that.

The key to the game is the double barreled shotgun. Easiest to hit people, get headshots, hit multiple snowmen at once, do a lot of damage, and it loads fast. Buy the sub-machine gun if you need to just until you can afford the shotgun. Then upgrade your house once. Then don't spend any more money (except on repairs between each turn) until you can afford the orbital laser. None of the other guns matter. Then keep upgrading your house and making repairs as needed. On the heavy assaults late in the game, pop headshots with the shotgun until there's a big crowd in the middle, then orbital laser them to clear out a bunch at once. The first time you use it, it's ready instantly. Each time after that, as soon as you switch to that weapon (with the spacebar), it'll take several seconds to charge up. So use it and then switch back immediately to the shotgun. If another crowd builds up, switch back, charge up, and give them another blast. Finish off cleanup with the shotgun. On each board, periodically, take out those guys who hang back and throw snowballs because they can damage from a distance.
