Solus 9 months agoWhy would the next four years be different than the last? It wouldn’t, thankfully. The economy will continue to grow. The job market will slowly return to normal. We will keep killing terrorists. etc. What are Republicans offering in place of that? Oh right, more of the deregulation and free market shenanigans that got us in this mess in the first place.

JeremiahJohnson1 9 months agoThis time 4 years ago my investments lost 50% of their value and I was worried my bank (Washington Mutual) would shut down and I wouldn’t have access to my money. Not to mention the violence in Iraq and the the threat of Bin Laden. My investments have recovered since Obama has been in office and I no longer worry that my bank will shut its doors and take my money. Also, the Iraq war is over and Bin Laden is gone, end of story. If Romney and Ryan win they will gut what little existing bank regulations we have, and I’ll have no reason to believe my money will be safe in the bank. With respect to foreign policy, you can be assured that neocons will lead us into one or two new wars which will only kill more of our soldiers. I can’t believe most of these Republicans don’t remember how bad it was 4 years ago. The real estate market is finally coming back and things are getting better, and you guys want to go back to the party that got us into this mess? No thanks.

brookel6 9 months agoIt would be nice if we could tax the rich more and that would help but it won’t. Rich people employee people and when they pay more they fire people and cut poor peoples pay and hours. That is what happened at my husband’s work. His rich owner still lives high on the hog buying new cars and going out to fancy meals. But he laid off most of his company. He cut my husbands pay and lets us have no over time. We are a family of 6 on 400 a week. He doesn’t care. And, if you tax him more we might get nothing cause he will fire my husband and find someone new without all the years so he can pay him even less. Why is is a crime to be successful. Isn’t that what everyone wants out of life. Why is that a bad trait for a presidential candidate to have and are you saying Obama wasn’t rich? Obama has spent more then any president in history. You can say he came into a bad economy and he did. But, he kept spending. If your bank account is negative. Do you keep writing checks?

richards25 9 months agoUmm, Romney grew up lower middle class. His dad didn’t become wealthy until Mitt was a teenager. Oh yeah, and Romney donated all of his inheritance to BYU. He started with nothing. BHO on the other hand never attended a public school in his life—all private schools, and his mother was president of the Bank of Hawaii. BHO is the rich kid, not Romney.
