Republican presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said on Friday that he would no longer comment on Donald Trump.
"I don't answer it anymore," Christie said. "That's my position. I don't comment on his comments. It's just not worth the time."

Three days later, on Monday, Christie broke his rule, responding to a question at a town hall in New Hampshire.

Christie, who mentioned that he has been friends with the real estate and reality TV host for more than a decade, said he didn't believe Trump's skills transferred to the Oval Office.
"I just don't believe that the skills that you're talking about, that Donald has, are transferable to a governmental setting. I just don't," Christie said.
Christie said Trump couldn't tell people like House Speaker John Boehner "you're fired" if he doesn't have the votes for a bill.
"What he does in the business world could not be replicated in the world of government or in the world of international relations," added Christie, saying Trump would be "frustrated" in government because of his inability to solely make decisions without having to compromise.
Christie pointed to Trump's comments on building a wall across the United States border and "make Mexico pay for it" as an example of Trump's goal, which he said was "to get the most attention."
"I thought we were talking about actually governing our country and not getting attention," Christie said.
