While leading Israel is no child's play, Netanyahu is looking to convince the Israeli public that if they want someone who can look out for their kids, they had better vote for his Likud Party.
The campaign ad opens with a couple getting ready to go on a date. As the doorbell rings, they find Netanyahu standing at their door.
The rest of the ad features Netanyahu slamming his political rivals -— and onetime coalition partners — Tzipi Livni and Isaac Herzog, of the Zionist Camp Party. A previous ad, featuring Netanyahu as a teacher in a kindergarten presiding over warring toddlers impersonating Herzog and Livni, among others, was banned by Israel's Central Election Committee, as it violated campaign rules which ban showing a child under the age of 15.
At the end of the ad, the parents return home and say "Shalom," a traditional Hebrew greeting which means Hello, Goodbye, and, literally, "Peace."
Netanyahu responds, "Not unconditionally."
