This Is The Terrified Monkey That Iran Shot Into Space
The Iranian government announced on Monday that they had successfully launched a monkey into space. The monkey has now safely returned to Earth. None of this, however, has been independently verified.
1. This screenshot from Iran’s Press TV, broadcast on January 28, 2013, shows an Iranian scientist holding a monkey the Islamic Republic is claiming they shot into space.
2. The only details Iran has released about the monkey’s mission is that he was sent up in a Pishtam rocket and reached a height of 72 miles.
3. UPDATE: A new image of the monkey, pre-flight, has emerged.
Also, experts are less than impressed with the “achievement,” suggesting it may be a cover for missile tests.

eliasashleyd 3 months agoI’m hearing all this about how awful it was to send a monkey into space strapped to an Iranian missile, but has anyone considered the possibility that, maybe, just maybe… maybe that monkey WANTED to go into space? Maybe it volunteered? I mean… how many monkeys get to go into space? Especially Iranian monkeys. Iranian PEOPLE don’t even get to go into space. If I were that Iranian monkey, I’d have jumped at the chance.

naomio 3 months agoanimals don’t have aspirations to live on other planets humans do, so send humans not animals, preferably the scum who did this and see how they feel, oh and yes strap them in so they cant move a muscle - bastards, nothing to do with the country, any people who do this should be locked up for good.

Have a look at the torturous meat industries and their huge corporations, testing on animals. Cruelty like this happens every day, right in front of your eyes.
