"Shane spent his entire life in the arms of people that loved him unconditionally and I don't think you could ask for a more beautiful life then that."

The Haleys learned this summer that their unborn son Shane suffers from anencephaly, a condition that causes infants to be born without parts of their brain and skull. The couple started a bucket list and put it on Facebook.

They decided that if there was no way they could spend time with their son, they would try and share as much of their lives with him in spirit as they could. The page went massively viral as Jenna came closer to her due date.

A lot of the items on the bucket list involved the couple sharing their love of sports with Shane.

“We talked about creating a page on Facebook chronicling his adventures so that all of our friends and family could keep up with us through all of our travel,” Dan Haley told BuzzFeed News last month. “We never imagined the page growing so quickly.”

Shane Haley was born at 2:25 a.m. Thursday morning. Shane was baptized and then died around four hours later as Jenna held him.

"Shane spent his entire life in the arms of people that loved him unconditionally and I don't think you could ask for a more beautiful life then that," The Haleys wrote on Facebook.
