Rick Santorum: Attack On His Wife “Ugly, Cheap, Tawdry”
Santorum dismisses the flyers handed out after the Personhood USA forum as dirty politics.

MT PLEASANT, S.C. — Rick Santorum today blasted a pro-life critic who yesterday attacked his wife, Karen, for allegedly having had a relationship with an abortion doctor before her marriage.
“The sad part is that you see a lot of negativity, you see a lot of folks who are just being hurtful on a variety of things. That’s the ugly side of politics and it’s not one that I’m going to pay frankly any attention to,” Santorum said in response to a question from BuzzFeed on how the family and campaign were dealing with the flyer.
“It’s ugly, it’s cheap, it’s tawdry,” he said. “It has no relationship to the issues at hand in this race, and we’re gonna treat it just like the ridiculous stuff that you see where you treat it for the value it is, which is zero.”
The flyer cites a Vanity Fair report Karen Santorum lived with an abortion doctor 30 years her senior — who delivered her at her own birth — back in the 1980s. The text accuses Santorum of being a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” who doesn’t actually back up his anti-abortion stances.

aln3 a year agoIt is time to change the civil ‘slander’ laws and allow all candidates to sue ( on a fast track court procedure’ with immediate ‘no appeal’ decisions executed, any other candidate or his party or non-party supporters
who put out these ‘slanderous’ bits of information. The penalty, if proven false, should be
‘all’ of the offending candidate’s ‘political war chest’..Just maybe we could get clarification of each candidates position on matters that affect’my/your country.
I don’t really care who is ”fcking whom”, I do care about my country.
I want ‘responsible candidates. -

dennyr a year agoI think Bill Clinton, Obama and most Democrats fear a Gingrich candidate rather than a RINO Romney candidate. Romney governed to the Left for abortion, the Radical Homosexual Agenda including Pride Days and being the Father of Homosexual Marriage in America, all the while running for the 2008 GOP nomination sounding like a Conservative. Romney ran to the Left of Ted Kennedy and called himself a Progress, all the while repudiating the Reagan Revolution, which Newt Gingrich helped to REINSTATE. causing even Leftist Bill Clinton to govern to the RIGHT on Welfare Reform and balanced budgets. Newt worked with both Reagan and Clinton to get over 20 million new jobs created through an atmosphere of pro-business policies. This is what Bill Clinton was sent out to do: defeat Gingrich who can beat Obama, for Romney, who CANNOT WIN, since true Conservatives won’t vote for a fraud that will continue this country down the road to Sodom and Gomorrah that Barack Hussein Obama, the Democrats and RINOS have put this country on. Santorum is fine, but I do not think he has a good chance at beating Obama like Newt has. Go Newt! 777denny

anything that happened to any human being twenty years ago,unless they are continuing in negative behavior is irrelevant. any Christian who deludes themselves into thinking it is ok to hold(or judge) the past against anyone is not a true follower of Christ and shouldn’t call themselves Christians.
