Paul Ryan’s Favorite Hobby

Today’s New York Times profile of the House budget chair revealed that Ryan enjoys “noodling” catfish.

According to his profile in today’s New York Times, one of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan’s favorite activities is stuffing his fist down a live catfish’s throat, an activity called “noodling.” In the above video, an instance of noodling can be seen around the 25-second mark.

CBS’ Early Show called noodling an “extreme form of fishing” and sent a correspondent to try it last year:
