The big news this afternoon — Keith Olbermann’s firing from Current TV — looked at first like it was about to be broken by Politico media reporter Keach Hagey, who announced that she had a scoop coming on Twitter. Brian Stelter, tagged in Hagey’s tweet, retweeted her.
And then scooped the Olbermann story two minutes later.
Today's moral: invoke @brianstelter's name and he WILL scoop your story. That's one of the craziest things I've ever seen.

MMR a year ago
I feel like somebody turned 2 pages at once. But I think I caught enough of this to get that grown-ups are acting like High-Schoolers. People who are “getting ahead” in life are really just regressing and stomping on everybody else to get there. Hard to enjoy what you have when you think nothing is ever good enough.
