Poorly Thought Out White Sox Poncho Night Ended Up Looking Like A KKK Rally

You guys really didn't see that one coming?

When the Chicago White Sox's matchup against the Los Angeles Angels last week had rain in the forecast, the team decided to make the goodwill gesture of handing out white ponchos to fans. White ponchos with pointed hoods. Guess what it looked like.

White poncho giveaway night at White Sox game looked like a Klan rally.

Sure enough, the rain started to come down, and the ponchos, which from afar could easily resemble white robes, began to fill the stadium.

I think the White Sox need to rethink the color of their rain ponchos. @MLBFanCave

Awkward.

What a terrible idea to pass out white ponchos to fans #whitesox
