Wolfram Alpha

Stephen Wolfram has built “a computational knowledge engine” that could mark the biggest web breakthrough since Google. It computes the answers to factual questions like, “What country is Timbuktu in?” or “How many protons are in a hydrogen atom?” But not questions people actually want to know the answers to, like “Is my son gay?” P.S. This is probably the unsexiest trend I have ever posted.

  • ISONTECH THink of it this way… the laws of physics and nature are all the result of the underlying fabric of the universe. Remember the movie Contact… where we get this secret message from space with a message in the number Pi. We can use laws of physics, math or even these underlying principles of the laws of the universe to calculate answers to things. Even human behaviour may have general simple rules that can be calculated based on a network of simple little dumb things called cellular automata. Its kind of like using Chaos theory to calculate the answer to everything.
