John Derbyshire’s Racist Article Condemned By National Review Colleagues
Conservative writer John Derbyshire’s’s latest piece, framed as advice to his children on avoiding black people, was published in Taki Theodorocopulos’s magazine. Derbyshire is also a regular contributor to the National Review, which has been quick to condemn this piece.

Benjamin Sapiens a year agoI took a brief look at this “Taki’s Magazine” that this article was published in. It’s a collection of reactionary, patriarchal, regressive, peleo-conservative, race-baiting, neo-fascist horseshit masquerading as a repository of witty intellectualism. It’s basically World Net Daily trying to act like The New Yorker. The upshot of all this is that Derbyshire’s hideously racist drivel was published in an already incredibly racist publication, which means that an openly pro-Jim Crow mentality is still mostly confined to the sleazier parts of the mediasphere. The fact that this rag exists at all is pretty horrifying, though.

Wow… I’m not surprised that there are people who think that way, but I am surprised that in the year 2012, that article could make its way into a well-designed, professionally-produced publication (and I just gave them more traffic, hey…). But, I guess they publish other, similar stuff, too; Jim Goad’s “Trayvonnosaurus Rex” includes these gems: “Half-retarded “racial arsonist” Al Sharpton, apparently unashamed of showing his face in public after supporting the dubious causes of Tawana Brawley, Crystal Mangum, and the Jena 6, naturally fled down to Sanford, FL and led a mostly black crowd in a series of primitive chants and possibly subliminal voodoo incantations.” “With all this talk about hatred I must confess that at the moment, I feel filled with hatred—at least up to my gills and possibly up to my sinuses. But I am willing to take a polygraph test to determine which group I hate more—American blacks, American politicians, or mainstream American journalists. The boys in the hoodies wouldn’t register a blip.” (But, it’s worth noting that Goad is an interesting writer with a long history of intentionally pissing people off…)

Uh… I have NEVER experienced “the hostility many blacks feel toward whites”. Maybe you have, mr racist asshole, because, well, you are a racist asshole. In fact, I’m more hostile towards racists than anyone I know. I will kick you in your old nuts, and those more mature than me will take the higher road. I guess you’ll have to define me as white-on-white hostile.
