After the release of sensitive U.S. diplomatic cables, Republican member of the Homeland Security Committee, Peter King, said that the administration should designate WikiLeaks a “Foreign Terrorist Organization.” MSNBC polled readers about what they thought and the responses below the polls are just as interesting as the results.
The only lives that are gonna be lost from this are those of the corrupt officials from all over the world that the government has done shady deals with. “Lives at stake” are the three words governments know will rally the right and right of center to come out and protect ‘the troops’. They’re really protecting the people responsible for the wars, not the troops. It’s why these idiots prevent anything from ever changing in the world.
I might be alone in saying but unless he decides to omit certain parts of the documents, which he won’t, this could cost a lot of Americans their lives. Sure, I’m all for keeping us informed about the war, but when it comes to giving sensitive information to the internet, which terrorists have access to, this might not be the most sensible thing to do.
Sweden drops rape accusation against founder of WikiLeaks I’m really surprised that the “Powers That Be” didn’t bribe the Swiss to arrest the WikiLeaks founder of being a pedophile. If they wanted to smear the guy’s reputation why not go to the thing that will piss off people the most!
So now every time someone does something the US doesn’t like, they’re a terrorist?
They’re airing out some of the US government’s dirty laundry. I’m glad somebody finally got around to it. Of course the only response the government can come up with is to slap their convenient terrorist label on them, which does nothing but confirm their impotency.
You’re a terrorist, you’re a terrorist, everyone is a terrorist, you’re all going home as terrorist…
