This Remarkable Man Feeds The Homeless Cats Of War-Torn Syria

While most humans have abandoned Masaken Hanano due to constant shelling, one person returns daily to feed more than 150 homeless cats.

Masaken Hanano, a neighborhood in Syria's largest city Aleppo, has been abandoned by humans because of continuous attacks from forces loyal to President Bashar Al-Assad.

A man named Alaa visits everyday to feed the cats who still populate the area.

Alaa, an ambulance driver, said he buys about $4 worth of meat to feed about 150 homeless cats, who roam the area.

Alaa said that he has been feeding and taking care of the cats for more than 2 months.
