Surveillance Video Shows Shooter Firing Rifle On Philadelphia Streets

One man was killed and two others were injured.

Philadelphia police are searching for a gunman seen on surveillance footage running out of a barbershop Saturday and opening fire with a high-powered rifle, authorities told BuzzFeed News.

Jose Perez, 46, was struck and killed. Two other men were also injured in the shooting, a police spokesperson told BuzzFeed News.

Police believe one of the victims, a 33-year-old male, was the shooter’s intended target, the spokesperson said.

The gunman appeared to enter the barbershop on E street and chased the target out on to the streets, according to the police spokesperson. The remaining two victims appear to be unrelated.

A witness told NBC10, who first published the surveillance video, that the shooter walked into the barbershop carrying a large box. He then sat down as if he was going to get a haircut and pulled the weapon out of the box.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning. Watch the full surveillance video here.
