geneviever 3 months agoMan, Miles MacDicken is making it his own personal agenda to reply to every single comment on here. Personally, I’m generally fine with fandom, it’s cool, everyone has their own issues and their own personal likes and dislikes. But it’s when you sexualize not only cartoon ponies, but cartoon ponies that are meant to be young and sweet, that it crosses the line. I think that is what makes people nervous about bronies becoming pedophiles. If their lust and their love for these ponies gets out of hand, who is to say they won’t become a legit clopper or a pedophile? Once these photos, or fan fiction isn’t enough they will have to go to the next level, next level, etc. I admit that not ALL bronies are like this, however the trend is becoming more sexualized and these photos are becoming more of the norm, which is scary to think about- what’s next? I’ve already seen plushie MLP sex dolls being sold- and you know they wouldn’t be made/sold unless there was a market for them. What if that isn’t enough? What if they feel they need something more? I think that is what generally sets people on edge.

SuperMissile 3 months agoPersonally, the bronies that do pics involving “sexual” or “suggestive” poses are the ones I tend to stray away from myself. As for the sex dolls, I’ve seen pics, and even I myself as a Brony admit that’s…taking it a bit to far. Sadly though, as long as MLP and Bronies exist, there will be things like this so it’s unavoidable. I just don’t see how say, the picture of Lyra sitting on a couch is considered “sad” and “pathetic”. She’s just sitting there, being awesome.

Hello, I’m the one known as S-Missile from DA. Personally, I’m a little disgusted that these people believe that us who do PiRL (Ponies in Real Life) pictures are considered freaks and pedophiles among the Brony community. While I will agree the ones where the ponies are in “suggestive” positions do kind of send the wrong message about Bronies, the ones where the ponies are just doing something completely normal like sitting or sleeping are not bad at all. But for me, let me just clear my name on my part. I’m 23, I’m currently going to technical college for computer networking technology, I have a girlfriend of whom I’ve seen pictures of, I have a job (fast food but it’s still a job *shrug*), made friends at said job, certain stores I visit some employees and managers know me, I’ve even met actual Bronies where I live and chatted with them, I’m close to my family, I have my own vehicle of which my job is paying for, and I will admit I live with my parents, can’t afford an apartment at minimum wage and they’re the ones paying for my class, but I pay them rent and help around there house with chores and shopping, and I also have friends online. So rather than assuming that people who do pics like these don’t have a life and/or real friends or are using the ponies as “girlfriends”, think about that maybe some of them DO actual things outside of the Brony fanbase. Me being a Brony and doing pics like these are just things I like to do. If I wanna do a picture of me and say…Twilight Sparkle reading a book together, then I’m gonna do it. But I do pics like these just for pure fun, I don’t play “pretend” or consider these ponies my “girlfriends”. Nor am I being in any way, shape, or form a pedophile. This is just all in good fun and in no way reflects that I don’t have real friends or that I’m using these ponies for my own pleasure. So please, rather than blowing all this out of proportion, take a few seconds to think that Bronies who do PiRL pics just do them for fun and don’t mean anything. Thank you for your time and I hope this can all be put aside. =)

Starphishy 6 months agoI agree with the title of this post: some of these boys are just plain sad. Now, I am not judging what kind of cartoons you like to watch, or what kind of anthropomorphic animals you associate with on a personal level, but when you start having sexually explicit feelings there are problems. Inter-species lovin’ is not a healthy thing for a population.

Apotheosis 6 months agoI was listening to Howard Stern, one of his staff did the “question thing” at a convention for bro-nies. It was the most creepiest thing I have ever heard of.
