Amazon Didn’t Accidentally Ship Someone An Assault Rifle, America Did
It would be truly unbelievable if Amazon, the company, accidentally shipped someone a gun in place of a TV. But it’s not unbelievable at all that one of its thousands of resellers did just that. About 35 million TVs were sold in the US in 2009; that same year, at least 14 million guns were sold. It was just a particularly funny mislabel — I’m kind of surprised this doesn’t happen more often.
