Here’s How Many People Have Died From Ebola So Far

At least 11,079 people have died from an outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, according to the World Health Organization.

The World Health Organization declared the Ebola crisis over in Liberia, Nigeria, and Senegal.

2. There was a separate Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. WHO declared the end of that outbreak on Nov. 21.

The agency said that the outbreak in DRC was a distinct and independent event, with no relationship to the outbreak in West Africa.
