Wanted Killer Chris Dorner Reportedly Cornered By Police, Volleys Of Gunfire Exchanged

Police reportedly have ex-cop and wanted spree killer Chris Dorner cornered in the Big Bear area.

1. On Tuesday, CBS reporter Carter Evans found himself incredibly close to what sounds like a gunfight between authorities and Dorner.

You can hear dozens of rounds and someone yelling “Get the fuck out of here now” — presumably a deputy to the reporter. Evans’ audio eventually cuts out, but K-CAL anchors say he emerged unharmed.

After the firefight, police confirmed two deputies were shot. At least one is dead, according to FOX Los Angeles.

The shootout began after Dorner reportedly burglarized a home, tied up a couple, stole their truck and fled. It’s unclear what happened between the carjacking and the gunshots heard in the video above.

Dorner, who has been on the run since Wednesday, is now believed to be “pinned down” in a cabin in Angelus Oaks, a town 20 miles away from Big Bear, Calif., where police have been focusing their search.
