A train carrying chemical tanks collided with a regional transport bus shortly after 8 a.m. Friday in Evans City, Pennsylvania, according to CBS Pittsburgh. It's believed there are at least five critically injured patients among the victims.
From CBS:
Emergency dispatchers say those injured may have been special needs patients of various ages, and they were on a Butler Area Regional Transport bus...
The train reportedly hit the bus, spun it around, dragging the bus more than 15-feet.
It's not clear yet what caused the accident, but it's notable that there was heavy fog over the Pittsburgh area this morning and a lack of crossing guard at the intersection where the crash occurred.
