Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid claimed Tuesday that an unidentified “Bain Investor” called to inform him that Mitt Romney “ didn’t pay any taxes for 10 years,” a charge the Senate’s top Democrat repeated on the chamber floor Wednesday, despite a denial from Senator John McCain, whose campaign examined Romney’s returns in 2008.
Reid’s wild charge begs the question, however: What else is Mitt Romney not telling people he may or may not have done. Because this isn’t the only thing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee has not yet disproven to the American public.
Here are some more negatives that remain unproven.
- Senate Democrats have secured enough votes to uphold the Iran nuclear deal when Congress votes on it later this month. ›
- The Baltimore Circuit Court will host the first hearing in the homicide case of Freddie Gray on Wednesday. ›
- Hundreds of Eurostar passengers moving between Britain and France were stranded for hours as people were seen on the tracks attempting to get through the tunnel. ›
