"All In The Family" Actress Dies At 90

Jean Stapleton died in her New York City home of natural causes, her family said.

Jean Stapleton, the actress who played Edith Bunker in the 1970s sitcom “All In The Family,” has died at age 90, her family said Saturday. In 1949, Stapleton landed a role on the national touring company of “Harvey.” She won three Emmys and two Golden Globes for her role in “All In The Family.”
