New WikiLeak: State Department Asked YouTube To Reinstate Egyptian Blogger’s Videos
Among the recent, Egypt-related Wikileaks is this document from 2008 revealing that the State Department asked YouTube to unban videos by an Egyptian blogger depicting police abuse. Gawker has suggested that the blogger in question was probably Wael Abbas, who is profiled in this New York Times piece. (Via TechCrunch.)
