Biden: "I Don't Know Enough About" Foreign Donations To Clinton Foundation To Comment

As Hillary Clinton prepares her expected run for president, the Clinton Foundation acceptance of donations from foreign countries has come under scrutiny.

CONCORD, N.H. — Vice President Joe Biden had little to say Wednesday about the Clinton Foundation's acceptance of foreign donations.

"No, I don't have any comment. I don't know enough about it," Biden said when asked by BuzzFeed News about the donations to the foundation, which have come under scrutiny in recent weeks.

In 2014, following Hillary Clinton's exit from the State Department, the Clintons' foundation quietly began accepting donations from foreign countries again, the Wall Street Journal first reported this month. The governments for countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman donated to the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, which was renamed to include the former secretary of state and the Clintons' daughter.

The foundation stopped accepting foreign donations when Clinton became secretary of state.

Biden spoke Wednesday morning at the University of New Hampshire.
