TLC Has Pulled "19 Kids And Counting" From Its Schedule Amid Sex Abuse Allegations

The day after allegations emerged against one of the show's stars, Josh Duggar, the network pulled reruns of the series from its schedule.

TLC has pulled 19 Kids and Counting from its schedule. However, it is unclear what the show's long-term fate is at this time.

The network was scheduled to run 19 Kids and Counting from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27. However, their website now states that The Little Couple will air reruns in those slots.

TLC's decision comes just one day after In Touch published a police report stating that the Duggar's eldest child, Josh Duggar, had sexually abused his sisters when he was a teenager. A few hours after the report began circulating, Duggar resigned from his post as executive director of the Family Research Council Action.

The latest season of 19 Kids and Counting, which has run for seven years on TLC, ended on May 19.

In October, TLC canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo after four seasons when it was discovered that Mama June had dated a known sex offender.

"Effective immediately, TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids and Counting currently from the air. We are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time," TLC said in a statement obtained by BuzzFeed News.
