Ebay Bans Negative Feedback For Buyers

Beginning in May of 2008 sellers on eBay will no longer be allowed to leave negative feedback about buyers. Does this decision protect consumers from retaliation from sellers or does it destroy the ‘open forum’ of eBay? We can only wonder what Weird Al Yankovic’s opinion is.
