Watch 'Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas' Through Google's Neural Network

What happens when you run a Hollywood acid trip through Google's trippy neural network? Pretty much what you'd expect.

Last week, Google showed us what it looks like when its Deep Dream artificial neural network generates its own images.

The results were sometimes off-putting, sometimes beautiful, and always strange.

Recently, a GitHub user named Roelof Pieters figured out how to run video through Deep Dream.

And what was first video clip he ran through it? The infamous acid trip scene from Terry Gilliam's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Because of course he did.

The results are about as messed up as you'd expect.

Which is to say genuinely terrifying.

Enjoy!
