The Most Porn-Loving Religious Cities In The Country

Some of America's most faith-saturated places are also quite into naked pictures.

Earlier this year, Gallup released data on the cities and metropolitan areas of the US with the highest percentages of people identifying as "very religious." Researchers at the website Pornhub (NSFW, clearly) took the opportunity to find out which of those areas visit the site the most. Below, America's most religious cities ranked by per capita visits to Pornhub between December 1, 2012 and April 30, 2013 (in order from least to most porn-loving):

12. Ogden/Clearfield, UT

With 2.6 Pornhub pageviews per capita between December and April, Ogden/Clearfield was the least porn-loving of the religious cities Pornhub looked at. Fifty-five percent of its residents identify as "very religious."

11. Hickory/Lenoir/Morganton, NC

Relatively unporny, this metro area generated 5 Pornhub pageviews per capita. 54% of residents are very religious.

10. Provo/Orem, UT

With 5.7 Pornhub views per capita between December and April, the hometown of Brigham Young University ranked third from last in porn love. It also has the highest level of religiosity: 77%.

9. Greenville/Mauldin/Easley, SC

Greenville and its surrounding metro area had 8.4 Pornhub visits per capita, and 55% of residents are very religious.

8. Holland/Grand Haven, MI

With 9.2 Pornhub views per capita, the Holland/Grand Haven area winds up in the middle of the pack. 55% of residents say they're very religious.

7. Birmingham/Hoover, AL

Birmingham had 12.1 Pornhub pageviews per capita, and 56% of its residents say they're very religious.

6. Jackson, MS

Mississippi's biggest city boasted 12.4 Pornhub views per capita. It's near the top in religiosity, with 64% of residents saying they're very religious.

4. Baton Rouge, LA

With 15.7 Pornhub views per capita, Louisiana's capital comes in fourth. 54% of residents are very religious.

3. Little Rock/N. Little Rock/Conway, AR

The Arkansas capital had 18.8 Pornhub views per capita, and 54% of residents are very religious.

2. Montgomery, AL

Alabama's capital had 21.9 Pornhub views per capita. It's also highly religious, with 64% saying they take religion very seriously.

1. Hunstville, AL

Alabama's "Rocket City" takes first place, with 23.8 Pornhub views per capita. 55% of its residents are very religious.
