trollprincess 6 months agoYes, they do. We have such a global impact that they worry just as much about who ends up in the White House. And a lot of the non-Americans I know online through political boards and Twitter and whatnot were really worried about the concept of “President Romney”.

Psychethos 6 months agoYup. Being at least somewhat aware of what’s going on in US politics is considered a part of common knowledge in the rest of the world. I can’t think of a person here in the UK or in Finland where I’m from who couldn’t name the current and last few presidents of the US, and most could tell you in a fair amount of detail about what’s been going on in this election. It’s sort of bizarre, because it isn’t really true for any other country.
