The State Department's initiative to counter ISIS terrorists with social media put out its latest effort Thursday: a video with brutal images of bad acts ISIS has carried out.
Think Again Turn Away is a U.S. government initiative to counter ISIS ideology through social media. It involves a Facebook and Twitter campaign, launched in December that aims to "expose the facts about terrorists and their propaganda."
The campaign comes from the State Department's Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications (CSCC), whose mission is to "orient, and inform government-wide foreign communications activities targeted against terrorism and violent extremism, particularly al-Qaida and its affiliates and adherents."
