Romney Campaign Donated Nearly $90,000 To The Red Cross A Month After The Election
The contribution came a month after Hurricane Sandy devastated the East Coast and three weeks after the election was over. The campaign didn’t advertise its charity.

This is so unimportant- let’s hear more about Michelle Obama’s bangs!
“Obscenely wealthy man with more money than he knows what to do with donates some of it to charity.” Where’s the “Cool Story Bro” button when we need it.
Well, like uncle joe said ‘im greatly aware of mits charity and that he’s s descent person’ a paraphrase of the vp debate
you may disagree with me but given that republicans don’t want to give the areas affected by sandy government support, it would seem they’d rather the people be dependent on their charitable contributions so they can keep in control and play the hero. it looks kind of weird to donate yourself but then not agree to give those affected proper aid to rebuild…and let it be known there is still much rebuilding to be done.
How does donating to the Red Cross “keep the government in control”? The Red Cross is a private organization, not a government entity.
You realize the recovery bill they passed took over 200 dollars from every American man, woman, and child, right? Horrible what happened, but this bill was loaded with pork and most of the money will not end up in the hands of those who most need it. Over 10 billion of the 60.2 billion dollar bill was for future construction projects not even related to disaster recovery. It’s certainly easy to spend other people’s money.
@ mph False, false, false, false. Would it kill you wingnuts to stop spreading lies?
