Rick Santorum Says Gay Marriage Is Like Marrying Your Brother Or Niece, Sexual Abuse Higher In Gay Families
Republican Presidential Rick Santorum isn’t running away from his confrontational views on same-sex marriage, and there’s no shortage of them. In a 2008 interview with radio host Mike Signorile, Santorum said same-sex marriage is similar to marrying your brother or niece and that sexual and physical abuse to children is higher in gay households (a statistic the American Psychological Association calls a “myth.”)

Every time I see this blowhard on TV he’s saying something about how women and gays are basically sub-human. amandah45 a year agoI find it funny that Santorum answers questions with irrelevant, pointless questions. It’s insulting to our intelligence, and it’s a cop-out. He’s basically saying, I don’t know the answer to this, and since he doesn’t want to come out and say that directly, he’s going to answer with question that divert attention away from the topic at hand. And, as the interview progresses, if that doesn’t work, he’s just going to make stuff up.

I feel like Santorum is just a sexy nominee to the far right, fringe Republicans and evangelicals. (Read as: The Tea Party) He is so far right, I don’t know how any self-respecting moderate or independent could stomach voting for him.

wwew a year agosexual abuse of kids highest in catholic churches and so is covering up that abuse and knowingly allowing it to continue unabated. please keep lecturing us on morality though. but i know the easy and obvious solution to this moral decay: start each day with a prayer and post the 10 commandments on the wall. that should solve it.
