Bristol Palin: "Liberal" Scandals Are Worse Than My Family Brawl

Joe Biden's son, Hunter, and Chelsea Clinton are treated better by the media, Bristol wrote. Police recently released audio and images of the family's fight with neighbors.

Sarah Palin's oldest daughter, Bristol, wrote Wednesday that it was time to tell the "truth" about her family's brawl.

Bristol said Wednesday she couldn't remain quiet about the fight any longer, writing that she and her family were being treated differently in the media because they are conservatives:

Did you even hear about Vice President Joe Biden's adult son who kicked out of the Navy for cocaine? (That's the real Vice President's kid…) So pause for a moment and consider the hysteria over our stupid "incident", compared to our actual Vice President's son not even being able to hold on to a position in the Navy Reserve.

I'm sure you heard the happy news that Chelsea Clinton had a baby. But did you know her father-in-law and Clinton family pal Edward Mezvinsky is a convicted felon because of committing bank, wire, and mail fraud?

Of course, you didn't. Because the friends and family of the revered liberal elite are treated like delicate China. Don't handle too roughly. They are precious. They are off limits. Don't push on them too hard.

She also released her own version of events, saying the fight began when "Our friend got knocked out from a cheap shot from behind. (His injury resulted in ten stitches, so it was really low.)"

Then, she said, the mother of the assailant hit her sister, Willow.

When Bristol went to defend Willow, she said a 6-foot-tall man cursed at her, pushed her to the ground, and held her there until someone came to her rescue. She swung at him in self-defense, she said.

She added, "Imagine for a second the outrage that would happen if Chelsea Clinton had gotten pushed by some guy. Had she tried to defend herself, the liberal media would've held her up as some feminist hero."

Bristol told police that a man pushed her on the ground, dragged her across the grass and called her a "fucking slut" during the huge Palin family birthday brawl on Sept. 9, according to audio released by police Tuesday.

The Anchorage Police Department also released new photos from the brawl, which involved several members of the Palin family who attended a birthday party at a South Anchorage home, the Alaska Dispatch News reported.

No charges were filed in the case.

A sobbing Bristol Palin described to police how Korey Klingenmeyer, the party's host, allegedly assaulted and verbally abused her.

Her 20-year-old sister Willow Palin told police that Bristol came to her rescue after she was hit by an "old woman."

"You hit my sister," Bristol says she told the "woman with gray hair." Then, according to Bristol, Klingenmeyer "pushed me to the ground and dragged me across the grass and called me a fucking slut."

While sobbing, Bristol told police, "They took my $300 sunglasses, they took my fucking shoes and I’m fucking just left here?”

While responding to an officer's inquiry if she was hurt, Bristol said, "My fucking knees, my face, where’s my shit? I have a 5-year-old in the car."

Willow told the officer her sister is "not physically hurt, she's mentally hurt."

Sarah Palin is also heard on the audio telling her younger daughter, "Don't cuss Willow."

Klingenmeyer told police Bristol hit him in the face after her tried to stop her from getting into a fight with another woman.

In this audio tape, Sarah Palin's husband, Todd, asks Klingenmeyer, "Did you call Bristol a slut, or what’s up man?" Klingenmeyer responds, "You need to go on another reality show."

Marc McKenna, whose birthday was being celebrated, told police that many of the Palins were drunk.

He said, "The night goes on, drinks happen, (the Palins’) kids are drunk and they got intermixed with some of my employees, and I think all hell broke loose."

According to mutliple witnesses, Bristol punched Klingenmeyer repeatedly.

Witness Elena McKenna told police, "Bristol came up and started just punching Korey. ... Willow came up and then they were trying to get everyone and another fight started at the bottom of the driveway again."

Witness Ronald Tharaldson, told police that Sarah Palin's son, Track, was "yelling and screaming and flipping people off."

Klingenmeyer told police, "These Palins running up here on my property acting like they own it is not gonna fly with me. … I don’t give a fuck if their name’s Palin or fucking Obama, cause they don’t mean sh*t to me."

Track said the party was "kosher" until some men began insulting his sister Bristol.

A witness told police that Track was fighting with his father Todd inside the house before the brawl began.

Bristol told police she has "no clue" if she hit Klingemeyer or not.
