Former model Jewel Allison alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby at his New York home in the 1980s.
The Brooklyn-based actor and writer, who studied film and television at New York University, told the New York Daily News in an article published Monday that her agent, Sue Charney, introduced her to Bill Cosby in the '80s when she was a model.
Cosby first invited Allison to his East Side brownstone for dinner and told her that he wanted to help well-educated models succeed in other professions, Allison said. Cosby followed the dinner with phone calls saying,"I love your laugh," she said.
When Allison accepted another dinner invitation to his home, she alleged that Cosby poured her a glass of wine, and after she drank it she felt woozy and awful. The now-77-year-old comedian carried her to another room.
From the Daily News:
"He said, 'Look in the mirror, and see the glow in your face,'" she remembered Cosby saying creepily. "I looked at myself and I didn't look good. My eyes were all over the place."
Allison said Cosby grabbed her hand and placed it on his genitals.
"That was my sexual assault by this comedian," she said. "He turned me around and said, 'Let's get you home.' At the door, he gave me a very hard embrace and a hard kiss."
A yellow cab was waiting, and the driver never blinked as Allison vomited in the back seat all the way home. Cosby had covered the cab fare.
Allison's claims are the latest in a series of similar accusations from women against the 77-year-old comedian.
"We may be looking at America's greatest serial rapist that ever got away with this for the longest amount of time," Allison told the Daily News. "He got away with it because he was hiding behind the image of Cliff Huxtable."
After the alleged sexual assault, Allison said she declined another invitation from Cosby at his home in Philadelphia.
"There's no such thing as America's Dad," she said. "There's just a man named Bill Cosby."
