Massive storms and a breached levee have caused heavy flooding in Missouri.
According to the Missouri Department of Public Safety, at least 14 people have died as a result of the floods.
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon on December 27 announced a state of emergency due to the floods, and three days later deployed the Missouri national guard to protect civilians and direct traffic.
Gov. Nixon said that in some areas of the state, rivers have risen to "record levels."
