A Hungarian video journalist was caught on camera tripping a man carrying a young boy past a police barricade in the southern Hungarian border town of Röszke.
Freelance journalist Stephan Richter recorded the incident. A man carrying a young child in one arm and a bag in another was running through a blockade. The woman is seen sticking her leg into his path, causing them both to fall.
According to Hungarian news site 444, the videographer was Petra Laszlo. She worked for Nemzeti Televízió, or N1, a television station founded in 2012 and run by the far-right Jobbik political party, reports The Telegraph.
Although N1 used Laszlo's footage in its news story, which aired on Tuesday, the station appears to have edited out the scene that includes Laszlo tripping the man and child.
The same day, Hungary's 444 reported on video footage uploaded to India Video that depicts Lazslo kicking a young girl as she attempts to break through a crowd.
Following the incident, N1TV released a statement signed by its editor in chief saying that it had fired the employee.
N1 did not immediately respond to requests for more information.
