French People Are Losing Their Shit Over This Photo Of Crêpes

"Sacre bleu! Quelle tragédie!"

Also, the stack of crêpes were surrounded by jams and Nutella, which should have been a dead giveaway that it wasn't a cake. ALSO, LIKE, A CAKE IS SOLID WHILE A STACK OF CRÊPES IS NOT, LIKE, OH MY GOD.

Anyways, as the photo of this culinary tragedy spread online, French people reacted the only way they know how:

"Sacre bleu! What a tragedy!"

On Facebook, things were even more dire.

"LOL! At first, I was going to say 'oh, a crêpe cake it's original!' But it's true, this is shocking!"

"Anyway, the English know nothing in the kitchen, so why would they know crêpes?"

BuzzFeed France called it an international crime against crêpes.

BuzzFeed has reached out to the original poster of the crêpe massacre, but hasn't heard back yet. The user did update the Reddit thread, explaining that it might not have been an English person, however.

  1. What do you think about the fact someone cut into this stack of crêpes like it was some kind of cake?

This photo makes me want to die.
French people are babies. It's just crêpes.
